1 - == omega 3 ==

I tried omega 3 in both small and large doses (eg. 6 grams) and the relief it provided was only very small. May as well not bother with it.

== NSD ==

Later I eventually tried the No starch diet (NSD) and it worked. I would not have tried it except that I was having rather strong side effects to each and every kind NSAID that my doctor tried -- side effects such as tinnitus, dry mouth, frequent urination, confusion, and lots of ulcers. Another factor was the relief I experienced after a) taking antibiotics, and also b) after fasting

It aint a cure but I no longer need to take NSAID's every day in order to function like a normal human being. I don't live in constant agony anymore - most days I have no pain at all. However the disease is still there and can still be a bit stiff.
